Toyota Aqua also known as Prius C in the western market is the Hybrid Hatchback car from the flagship Toyota Prius family. Overall Toyota Aqua’s performance and fuel efficiency is very similar to the Toyota Prius. After Toyota Prius, the Aqua is the second most sold hybrid vehicle in the Sri Lankan market.
Toyota Aqua is offered in three different grades: L, S, G, and X.
- L Grade – Base grade. (Lowest grade)
- S Grade – Comes with push start, rear wiper, and other features.
- G Grade – Premium grade with all the features.
- X Urban Grade – Highest grade and It has all the features of a G grade.
Since the Prius C was targeted for western markets, its safety features are different from the Aqua. For example, the basic Aqua has two air bags, and the Prius C comes with eight air bags. However Both have the same engine and the same external and internal appearance. Toyota Aqua C is a good looking car and looks kind of sporty. Also, it’s relatively small so easy to maintain and drive in the city.
